David Spann began his career with Securities America in 2010 where he earned his Series 7 and 66 Licenses to become a registered representative. By 2011 David was working alongside David Hanson, CFP® and Managing Director of Sovereign Wealth Advisors. In 2012 David earned his general life and health insurance license. Continuing his professional education further, in September 2016 David attained his Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation from the College for Financial Planning.

David attended Baylor University and earned his Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Finance. David is an active member of Crosspoint Church in Bellaire and has acted as one of the League Commissioners for their Upward Basketball program the past 7 years. He also is currently serving as a board member for the Villas At Clearview Home Owner Association. He and his wife Blake have been married for eight years and have two children, Ethan and Allison.
